Video from chest day on Monday and a photo of me pumping my chest up back stage. One of my most lacking points throughout my training was my chest. I had a pancake chest lol, dat flat feel. For anyone wanting to grow their chest all I have to say is make sure youre progressing every week. If you flat benched 80kgs for 6 reps next week try do 82.5kg for 6. Always make sure youre progressing. Keep your muscles guessing on what theyre about to get belted with. If you cant go up in weight, change the rep range, push another rep or two. If you got no spot, do a drop set after that 6. Keep them guessing!!! Also every rep is crucial for growth. I like to go 3 second negative rep on the way down, stretching the chest then pushing back up, squeezing the shit outta my chest until its at full contraction. Muscle mind connection is very important. Engage your chest with every rep 110%. This goes for every muscle part. My chest workout consisted of( all pressing movements I increased in weight every set & drop set after last set on each exercise! Incline bench press x4 Hammer strength flat pressx4 Decline machine x4 Straight arm cable flies x3 Cable fly cross overs x3 ( cables placed to the top) Enjoy :)
