Violence has vindicated me when I said PF sent youths for militia training in Sudan-HH -United party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema says he has been vindicated when he said that the ruling Patriotic Front had sent youths for militia training in Sudan by the current violence being perpetrated by PF cadres. Mr Hichilema says the violence being perpetrated by Patriotic Front cadres is a clear militia mentality. Mr. Hichilema has told Qfm News that his earlier statement that the PF was training youth militias has come to light. He notes that it is unfortunate that the Patriotic Front leadership has completely failed to manage their cadres who have gone out of control shedding blood of innocent souls. The UPND leader stresses that the many occasions that the Patriotic Front has shown their militia behavior is enough for anyone to see that they are capable of shedding more blood. And Mr. Hichilema has appealed to the Police to ensure that they bring the perpetrators of the violence to book without delay. He says allowing the culprits to go scot free poses more danger to lives of innocent people. And Anti Voters Apathy Project (AVAP) Executive Director, Richwell Mulwani, has observed that the continued violent protests by Patriotic Front (PF) cadres will affect the performance of party in the forthcoming Mansa Central Parliamentary by-election. Mr. Mulwani has told QFM News that for as long as the PF top leadership continues to condone the violence by their cadres, there is no doubt that people would not vote for them. Mr. Mulwani says his organization does not see the PF winning all the scheduled by-elections because voters will not want to associate themselves with a part that is violent. He feels that the PF has a lot of work to do in Mansa Central ahead of the by-election next week as they have lost confidence in the eyes of the electorate following the violent activities the party has perpetrated in Lusaka which has a bearing on country.
