Virtually all of what Benjamins learning at this point in his life - TopicsExpress

Virtually all of what Benjamins learning at this point in his life pertains to time, space, and physicality. He has to be told, for example, that his grandparents cant be seen at the drop of a hat, for they all live far away. He has to be reminded that now isnt later, later isnt now, and certainly neither is soon. He learns what things are called, what they do, where they go, when theyre needed, and to whom they rightfully belong. Witnessing this, one cant help but wonder: Was the child, in his previous state, in an immaterial realm where no boundaries existed, all things were one, and everything was happening NOW?
