Visited mom tonite at the hospital. Shes doing really well and was just like her old self - always worrying about us and her beloved cat Oreo. Shes in good hands and the heart doctor tested her and her heart is ok. She also was seen by lung dr and she had X-rays and ultrasound and theres inflammation seen on her left lung and its also suspected she has sleep apnea. So more tests and rest is needed. We discussed about her work situation - we agreed she can no longer work. We will have to figure out how she is gonna be ok financially. Also her meds for lupus is ridiculously expensive and she has no benefits. Im gonna try and see if my government teachers benefits could support her health needs. She kept wanting to know how my week went just like she always does. Its possible she might be released on Sunday. I told her about my FB posting and I was surprised when she said she appreciated the thoughts and prayers from those who posted or liked my status about her.
