Vitamin D levels are of utmost important for those with breast cancer. Infact studies are showing that usually when diagnosed with BC a woman has lower levels of D. Because of this the Dr. had me try to increase it with super power supplements. But my tests stayed the same, lower side of normal. My new vitamin D tests,from pure foods alone, went up ALOT. It is now 10 points above what is considered optimal for a woman who has had breast cancer. I guess the power greens really do pack a punch...and a daily hour walk must be helping a bit too! I am amazed and grateful for this new path, that happened through a diagnosis that was a good prognosis but still a HUGE wake up call.
