Vodafone Cycling Marathon organizers. First off - congratulations on pulling off your first event in Bangalore. My friend and I did the 40K Passion ride and it was just awesome to race right in the heart of the city...and for that I thank you for your efforts. However, to add to what Neera Katwal said, Im shocked that you didnt announce winners in the womens category! I was also disappointed with the number of women in the passion ride....that may not be your fault. But you must encourage more participation from women riders by reaching out to us. Take a look at your ad on the billboards - a male rider and two women trying to pull him back. Or just a male rider. Please take a look around you - women are half the population in India, and we are not just cheerleaders. Its not a mans world anymore. We ride, we are strong, and we belong on the podium too. So if you want our participation and support, you better show us some recognition. xxx Bib 325
