Voice of Responsible Media or the Voice of a Degenerate - TopicsExpress

Voice of Responsible Media or the Voice of a Degenerate & Pathological Media? Certainly the level of divisive speech has ratcheted up a few notches. Presumably there are limits to which most individuals and socially responsible media adhere to or recognize. It is by no means unreasonable to request that some limits are observed. Without standards society degenerates into screaming clawing factions and tribes. Vestiges of civility quickly disappear being drowned out by more primitive yelling and gesticulating. Intelligent humanity and I might add civilized and educated human kind debate and promote a discourse and establish a dialogue over differences. Uncivilized idiots do not. It is left to a certain reasonableness for each individual to discern what the limits are and the wide majority of human kind can figure it out. Although some time is required to learn what those limits are a minimum acquired maturity typically can. Those who cannot are labeled pathological meaning loosely the inability to acquire the a necessary and practical level of socialization. We have to ask to what end this level of graphic fantasy violence is intended to shed light on an issue and when it entire intent is to disturb and agitate a population already divided enough from political factions. When a media representative, entitled to opinion but within the assumed limits of respectable and responsible journalism, appears to be trying to provoke either individual acts of violence against another individual or prompt, promote social unrest among a group or class, we might wonder what the ethics or moral of any such outlet are or whether they understand the implications of their actions. To suggest, imply or otherwise direct an attack which emulates or recreates a criminal act on another individual , especially after an Entire Country has gone to war, an estimated 450,000 to 750,000 dead as the result of this conflict, is beyond reproach and seems to suggest an underlying social pathology or either that individual or of that media which endorsed such an implication. It seems implausible that during such times as we face, as a nation, for the pain and hardship endured by so many to preserve the state of our union, anyone would recreate such atrocities for politically divisive purposes.
