WAIT A MINUTE! I hear you cry, WHATS THIS GOTS TA DO WITH KISS!?! Well… if like me you ran yourself ragged on the KISS UK show rumour mill last year youll know there was a lot of supposed grief, miscommunication about KISS and Aerosmith playing Hard Rock Calling. Allegedly they were both penciled in as separate headliners, then as a co-headliner which all fell apart either because A) they couldnt come to terms over the co-headlining plan or B) part of the Olympic Village deal meant that Kasabian had to headline (theyd already been signed to play the venues opening event) or C) either both or neither of this points. ANYHOW! To quote the source Theres still lots of announcements to come, including a big Sunday night headliner, and were excited at whats in store. Could it be KISS? Should it be KISS? Would it be KISS? Being a South Londoner that would be fine with me. Other than that… Aerosmith with the throwback charms of Thunder on the Common?
