WALK HUMBLY BEFORE THE LORD As we walk through life, we are constantly confronting many detours which can lead us away from our relationship with the Lord. It’s quite easy to stray, but sometimes we fail to find our way back. Perhaps the way to stay on the straight path is by following what the prophet Micah stated. WALKING HUMBLY BEFORE THE LORD will keep us focused upon Him rather than relying on our own abilities and desires. The advice in 1 John 1:7 is also helpful: “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” It’s also helpful to think about Jesus and the path He walked on this earth. Did you ever wonder what thoughts went through His mind as He walked the road to Calvary? He knew what was waiting for Him as He stumbled along under the weight of the cross. Yet He did not detour; He stayed on the path the Father prepared for Him.
