WAREHOUSE STOREPERSON – Chipping Norton Located in Chipping Norton in Sydneys south west, Thinking Ergonomix is one of Australias leading manufacturers of office furniture products marketed to the architectural and interior design industry, and sold through Australias leading office furniture dealers. Established in 1984 as the first Australian manufacturer of height adjustable desks, Thinking Ergonomix has become known for designing innovative furniture products, with several products recognised with international design awards. We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to work in our factory and warehouse facility at Chipping Norton. Your responsibilities will include; - Receiving incoming orders; including container unpacking (with assistance as required), unloading of trucks and movement of components to correct locations as directed. - Stock rotation to ensure that stock is used based on FIFO principles. - Movement of stock components to production areas to ensure smooth production flow. - Assisting in regular stock cycle counts and yearly stock takes. - Picking of customer orders and despatch including labelling, organising and loading trucks and containers with assistance as required. - Assisting in production areas if required. - Ensure a clean & tidy workplace and promotion of a professional image. - Adherence to workplace health & safety policies and procedures. To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in a similar hands on role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A current Forklift Licence is essential and experience using a high reach fork lift would be advantageous. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be essential to the success of this position along with the ability to multi task. You will possess the ability to quickly respond to changing priorities and be customer service focused. Strong written and verbal communication skills will be essential. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, and 7am to 1pm on Friday. Occasional overtime may be required.
