WARMONGER MAMADEE DIAKITE EXPOSED BY THE NATIONAL CHRONICLE NEWS PAPER; SAYS HIS REAL STORY BEFORE AND AFTER THE WAR!!!! In-depth investigation conducted by the National Chronicle suggests that the pro-government radio station, Truth FM, owned by businessman, Musa Bility, and financed by the President of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, is currently serving as the incubator of a war crimes criminal, who is responsible for the death of hundreds of innocent Liberians during the civil up-rising, dribbled, “the Monrovia fighting”.Mr. Mamadee Diakite, a Truth-FM talk show host and a self-proclaimed journalist, is an Ivorian Mandingo by birth whose parents, in search of greener pasture cameto Monrovia in the early 70s and settled onNewport Street, where Mr. Diakite grew up. As a child playing soccer on Cooper’s Farm, and mastering all of the shortcuts in and around the Mamba Point area, Mr. Diakite, blindfolded, can walk one through the Sekou Toure-Newport Street-Mamba Point area.Serving as an intelligence operator for the rebel group, LURD, he would crossover to LURD rebels when they crossed Po-River’s bridge, and take up his position as special assistant to “COBRA”, code-named of Lt. Gen. Shariff, who was then the Chief-of-Staff of LURD.When LURD hit the Point-Four, Bushrod Island area, Mr. Diakite, under the instructions of his boss, “COBRA”, was instrumental in organizing LURD’s control and command office, which hosted the G-2 office. Mr. Diakite led his boss on a looting spree of Prestige Motor and Barbar Motors, where brand new vehicles were driven to Guinea and sold, Mr. Diakite benefitting fully from the spoils of war. It is alleged that when Mr. George Haddad approached “COBRA” about his earned property, he received a death threat.It is alleged that Mr. Diakite was present along with his boss, “COBRA”, when Karate expert and President of the Karate Federation, Mr. Nabe Hash, was arrested and dragged from his Via Town residence, allegedly for communicating with Charles Taylor, a man Mr. Hash opposed and could not stomach.Under the watchful eyes of Diakite, with orders from his boss, “COBRA”, Karate President Hash was severely beaten and dragged to an unknown destination, where he was slaughtered like a pig. The Hash family have been trying to find closure to their son, brother, uncle and father’s death;Diakite may just be in the position to explain what really happened to Hash and where his remains was thrown.Mr. Diakite is allegedly the architect behind the 81mm mortar attack on the city of Monrovia from Via Town, which indiscriminately killed hundreds of innocent Liberians in quest of food and shelter in the Mamba Point area, especiallyGray Stone area. The 81mm mortar was fired from the Via Town area, which currently hosts the FIB Bank.Making no impact because the operator of the 81mm mortar, being a Guinean, did not know Monrovia, he threw the mortars across the Providence Island, not hitting any substantial target until Mr. Diakite redirected the aims, which started hitting the Mamba Point area.It is not clear, up to the publication of this paper, if Mr. Diakite ever regretted his action or if he willfully and knowingly aidedand abated in the killings of hundreds of innocent Liberians in the Gray Stone area. Mr. Diakite signaler action may have caused the death of hundreds of innocent Liberians, who went to their early graves not knowing why LURD, which claimed theycame to rescue the Liberian people from Charles Taylor, would target them.This LURD action the LURD authorities would later be blamed on Charles Taylor, asituation which the Liberian people have taken with a grain of salt.For his “good works” as special assistant to “COBRA”, Mr. Diakite would be elevated to the position of press officer for LURD and chairman Damatee Konneh. Serving in this position, Mr. Diakite would cause the death of many innocent people by pointing people out. One of his many victims who lived to tell his story is Mr. Mohammed Kanneh, Publisher of the Heritage.Mr. Kanneh, in quest of food, having crossed the bridge in the Point Four area, would be pointed out to LURD fighters as a Charles Taylor pressman working for the Monrovia Guidance newspaper. True to theinformation, Mr. Kanneh was then working as the circulation man of the Monrovia Guidance. He would be immediately arrested, interrogated and sentenced to death by a group of ignorant rebels, while Mr. Diakite watched from the shadows, notwanting Mr. Kanneh to see him.Being pushed out of the G2 office, Point Four, to his early grave, Mr. Kanneh would shout that his elder brother, medical doctorKanneh, was an executive member of LURD, which would save him by the skin of his teeth. He would be told and shown his accuser, Diakite, but would be too worn outand frightened to confront him. He would never go across the bridge again in quest of food, but would have the opportunity to remind Mr. Diakite on every available occasion of the many innocent souls whom he caused to go to their early graves.After the Accra Peace Accord, where the spoils of war were divided among the warring factions to the civil conflict, Mr. Diakite was rewarded a lucrative position at the Free Port of Monrovia, the gateway to the economy. He was appointed the head of the Port’s container park. Sekou Konneh was appointed Comptroller and Mr. Chea Doe (brother of the late PresidentSamuel Doe) was appointed managing director (MD) of the Port. Unfortunately, Mr. Doe went to his early demise while serving as MD of the Port.Mr. Diakite’s former boss, “COBRA”, would be named a member of the triangular committee (LURD, MODEL and the AFL) to find the way forward for the restructuring of the military. Unfortunately for “COBRA”, his sweetheart, a Cameroon girl, would take his money to be banked in the States. He would normally call the girl, who would remit money to him via Western Union. On this fateful day, he would call for a financial transaction and the girl would hand the phone over to a man, who would claim that he was the newhusband, and forbid “COBRA” from calling his wife. “Cobra” immediate took sick and went into his room. After a few days of heartbreak and disappointment, he gave up the ghost. In a famous Liberian adage, “Leopard does not change its spots,” Diakite (during the era of the interim government of Gyude Bryant) would soon be arrested andincarcerated by the NSA on the charge of theft of property. Mr. Diakite would be charged for stealing two 40-foot containers and involvement in a US$1million (one million United States dollars) theft. His co-conspirator would be the comptroller of the NPA Mr. Sekou Konneh.Like always, the two criminals would bribetheir way out of the situation. Mr. Konneh would invest his stolen share of the money in the Don-Kan gas station, while Diakite would purchase the franchise of the Total gas station, New Georgia intersection, Gardnersville. He would embezzle his collateral money and become indebted to Total.Losing the franchise and very broke, Mr. Diakite would revert to the journalist profession, hiding his war crimes behind Truth FM as a talk show host.
