**WARNING: Childrens shows rant** When I was little , almost every show I watched that was geared specifically towards my age was generally wholesome. Family Matters, Full House, Saved By The Bell, etc. They encouraged kindness while also teaching us lessons about having good morals and values. Has anyone else noticed what almost all shows our children teach nowadays? No wonder both of my naive young children, (who Ive allowed to watch the utter garbage we as parents have been brainwashed to believe is decent) have turned into ungrateful, disrespectful, mean, two faced, occasionally bullish, little top notch smart butts! It seems Nickelodeon and SNL share the same writers and that is freaking ridiculous! If I talked to my parents the way the kids on these cartoons/shows do, Id been drinking soup through a straw for the rest of my life! I dont understand how these kids channels are permitted to promote such bad behavioral traits were all working to make sure our children dont have! Theyre defeating our purpose. I often wonder, arent any of these people parents themselves? They must not be! They just dont comprehend the ungodly amount of damage theyre constantly subjecting the future members of our society to. You can bet Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, along with countless others will eventually be forced to reap what they have sewn because they dropped the ball. They will regret being more concerned with ratings than being good role models! If you want to protect your child and surround them with good positive influences, let them watch shows with educational value like PBS. Maybe then those networks will have no choice but to get back to decently wholesome childrens shows!
