WARNING: So as most of you know I havent been on here very long, but have noticed lots of new iCandy stock being sold on here and just wanted to issue a little warning to those of you thinking of purchasing it that whilst the items are listed as new as they have already changed hands once, at best, the relatively small amount of money you have saved comes at the cost of your warranty, which would normally cover you for 2 years against manufacturing problems with the frame and 6 months with the fabrics. Of course, both Astra and Pushchair Candy seem like lovely ladies and Im sure theyd try to help if something went wrong, but they arent backed by iCandy so will they be around in 2 years time? Maybe the stock comes via a registered stockist, but will they help if something goes wrong and risk losing their stockist status if there identity becomes known? Also, the amount the original store is making after the discount to you and the cut for Astra & Pushchair Candy must be very small and thats also very worrying, am sure you are all aware what happened to a large store that was selling for very little profit through groups like these..... If a store closes down usually we and other stockists are more than happy to help customers out, but only with a valid receipt. The other option is that maybe these ladies are unwittingly selling stolen goods. In the last year there have been at least 6 thefts of iCandys from stores and thats only that Ive heard about.... In which case you might not even get to keep the goods. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions....
