WATER FOM THE WELL And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matt 10:28 (NKJV) ( see Mark 8:37; Rom 2:5-9.) Here we see that Satan is out to destroy our souls. We certainly need to be saved from that! You will find, in fact that this is where the battle for our lives is fought. It is what we think, how we feel and our consequent decisions that will prove whether we live for Christ or live for our own selfish desires. It is a war, and it is a fight to the death! Eternal life or Eternal death! That’s how important our soul’s salvation really is!
