WAVING THE PALESTINIAN FLAG - FOR WHO? I want to poise a challenge to all my Facebook friends. Can you accord the same sympathy towards a 3 years old innocent Gazan child who died under an Israel airstrike, to that of a 3 years old innocent Syrian child who was killed by the Syrian Army , and also a 3 years old innocent Tamil child who was killed by the Sri Lankan Ceylonist army? And take it to a step further : (brace and breath), can you accord the same sympathy you have to a innocent 3 years old Palestinian boy who was killed in an Israeli Air raid, to a innocent 3 years old Israeli child, who was killed by Hamas rocket? It is very important that we take the BIGGER and GREATER approach to peace and to find a solution to prevent death and inhuman treatment to our fellow human. The Palestinian flag you waved today, is symbolical of one thing, and it coincides beautifully with the THEME of todays rally : Save the Children of Gaza. Why Children and Women? Simple. They represents innocence. They are the biggest and greatest victims of man made conflict. They are the CORE REASON and MAIN JUSTIFICATION for the world to step in and demand for Peace, demand for a stop in killing the innocent. They are the LOUD CONSCIENCE of HUMANITARIAN and HUMANITY. We as fellow human, should ANSWER THEIR CALL., the call from innocent victims , innocent children and women to demand for a stop for conflict that kills. However, many of us failed to realize that humanitarian is UNIVERSAL : that innocent victims comes in all forms of religion, culture, gender, age, ethnicity, beliefs, countries etc. We cannot, and must NOT BE SELECTOVE when we answer the call of the innocence. We MUST NOT jump into te conflict and demand for certain steps to be done based on the conflict. Take for example, in the case of Israel. The claim for land ownership is a complex one. I agree, in the past 60 years there was tremendous loss of land from the Palestinian to Israel. Your other friends from other country might tell you, Israel started off being a huge country owned by King Solomon and King david, the great Jewish King 1000 BC, and some might tell you it was at one point of time belong to the Turkish, Ottoman Empire, Fractionized Arab, British through mandate, the list goes on and on. At this juncture, if you are to PICK ON answering the call on conflict, but not answering the call on Humanitarian, you wont be able to solve the issue. You will only make them trying harder to justify their actions, which is what they are doing now. The history is too complex for any one party to clinge on one account. You will only have the BEST MORAL HIGHGROUND when you ANSWER the call of the INNOCENT VICTIMS of Gaza, and not jumping into answering the call of the conflicts. You MUST speak for the women and children of Gaza. You MUST DEMAND that Israel STOP their atrocities immediately and you must do everything you could to Make sure that happen : innocent children women and lives must NOT BE Killed. When you wave the Palestinian flag, remember, you are waving and answering the call of the innocent. And remember again, innocence are UNIVERSAL, so are humanitarian. You are waving the Palestinian flags of innocent for Gazan, Syrians, Rohingyans, Sri Lankans, Iraqis, Iranians, Ukrainians.c and every children and women in this world, because to defend the innocent and children makes you HUMAN. You might be a good Christian, good Buddhist, or good Muslim by HEADBUTTING on answering the conflict in favour of your religion, instead of answering solely on the calling of innocence. But by being selective in protecting the innocence (ie, caring more about the life of a Gazan 3 year old boy more than the life of a Tamil 3 year old boy persecuted in Sri Lanka), you FAILED TO BE A GOOD HUMAN. You value one INNOCENT life more than the other Innocent life. Whats the point of appearing to be a good Muslim, a good Christian, a good hindu or a good Buddhist if you CANT EVEN BE A GOOD HUMAN TO BEGIN WITH? #Peace. #Humanitarian #FreeGaza #PrayForSyria #ProtectInnocent #Children #StopISIL #StopIsrael #StopSriLanka #StoptheKilling
