WE GOT EM ON THE RUN!!! Keep educating people, keep spreading knowledge! I dont care your political leanings, the Elite cant stop an informed Populous!! We gotta fight the banksters, the corrupt on wall street and inside government, fight the revolving door of monied interests and government officials. Officials who toe the line of the lobbiests, who then retire to a cushy job within the corporation who lobbied them. We have to scrutinize EVERY politician that starts a campaign. We must vett them out ourselves. Where do they come from, who have they worked for, what kind of record do they have. Do they have suspicious contacts? Have they been involved with a scandal? Was that scandal resolved and the candidate exhonerated? What was their last job? Were they involved in a company that actively lobbies government? Whats their net worth, how was this wealth made? Anything at all that can make you an informed voter. Crooked Politicians hate nothing worse than a voter who does their own research. Ignore the commercials and the money they throw around. Print out your research and leave copies in bathrooms, restaurants, coffee shops, pin them up in stores, get the word out. Be an activist for a candidate you know backwards and forewards, a candidate whom you feel to not be a lesser of two evils...but an ideal candidate. Pound the pavement during Primaries to get YOUR candidate elected. Dont let the corrupt, ultra wealthy elite get their way. Its time that WE THE PEOPLE took our government back from the extremes of our parties. We are not a Left nation, a Center Left nation. We are not a Right nation, or a Center Right nation. We are an American nation who loves our Freedoms and Rights. We dont like when the fringe of the political parties on either side tries to take freedoms away from anybody. We dont like when the party in power oversteps their bounds and tries to screw the people. We need to wake up, and band together. Elect people who ARE NOT the most Liberal, or most Conservative. We need to elect candidates that can compromise, who can work with the other side constructively. We dont need firebrand partisans...we need people that at the end of the day put the needs of the people before party politics, or their next election cycle. We have political gridlock in Congress because we have 535 people who want to keep their jobs by appealing to the zealous fringe of their parties...the people who vote most reliably in the primaries. We have gridlock because we have two parties constantly trying to make their party opposite look bad so theyll have that one soundbyte that can clinch their next election. They have the system rigged. But if we ALL get involved in politics, involved in volunteer work...make sure as many people as you know are registered to vote, have IDs, are well informed on ALL the candidates...and vote in the primaries, special elections, off year elections, mid-term elections, Local and State elections. Politics affects us all...its time we all got involved.
