WE HAVE POWER!! Thanks to the quick response and hard work of Northeastern REMC’s employees and the investments made in new technology and system upgrades, we are happy to report that as of 11:10 a.m., all 7200 affected REMC members have power restored. Members served by five of Northeastern REMC substations lost power due to an American Electric Power (AEP) transmission line problem. AEP delivers power to all Northeastern REMC substations. Northeastern has switched the last 2000 members without power to other REMC substations as AEP continues to work on the transmission problem. Thank you again for all your patience and understanding!
