WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHERN OREGON AND NORTHERN - TopicsExpress

WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHERN OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Today is looking like it will be the warmest day for the rest of June. The forecasts through Wednesday have us seeing sunny skies with highs in the 80s. But it is after Wednesday that has our attention. Two low pressure centers will sweep through the Northwest and these will send us into cloudy, cooler weather with the threat from showers or maybe even sustained light rains. The exact details are still being worked out, but it is very clear that if you have plans for next weekend that are outdoors, you would be well advised to consider making alternate plans now, or even cancelling. Farmers and ranchers who are looking to be cutting hay should plan to have that done and complete by Wednesday at the latest. That goes for those east of the Cascades as well. Keeping an eye on the upcoming 4th of July holiday, and as of todays data runs, the 4th is looking better now, but the change in the weather we will see on Thursday looks to persist through the 2nd of July right now.
