WEATHER UPDATE - The snow seems to have taken a break, and were measuring exactly six inches on the ground in downtown Storm Lake. A big chunk of the system is passing by to our north, and looks like it is still pelting everything from Spencer and Algona on up into Minnesota. Things should be quiet for a while, but radar shows another snow system, smaller than todays, still off in southern South Dakota/northern Nebraska that could come our way several hours from now. Tomorrow, expect mostly cloudy skies and a high of only 7, Wednesday were really headed into the deep freeze with our high expected to be several degrees below zero. Hopefully well see a brief break Thursday warming into the upper teens.
