WED UPDATE: This morning Dad recognized me & said hi. Gall Bladder Function test showed several good size stones but the duct is not blocked. Got him out of bed several time today for wheelchair transport for test, to walk to the bathroom & to sit in the chair. Dr. is going to send PT tomorrow so we dont loose what muscle tone & ability he has. He had a few bites of 3 meals today of liquids & pureed food & no vomiting. He is running a fever again. He whispered, I love you to me. What a tender, happy, sad moment. I keep falling asleep (tried for an early night) only to be woke by him choking & gagging on mucus every 10-20 minutes!! Reminding me of my moms last few weeks. The last 2 weeks, we have lost a lot that wont be back. Tomorrow CT scan. And while talking to the visiting priest today, he is going to arrange for a chaplain to come by for a visit & communion tomorrow or Friday. Something to look forward to. And for my oily friends, the on guard is diffusing :-)
