WEDNESDAY-Derry Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2013 10 a.m. The Light of Other Days Exhibition at the Void Gallery. 1 p.m. Youth Céilí at the Gasyard 1 p.m. Organ Recital, The Dean of Derry and Rector of Templemore, William Morton, will give a short lunchtime performance on the grand organ in St. Columb’s Cathedral. 1 p.m. Highlands and Islands at the Guildhall. This concert will include one of Scottish music’s traditional singing dynasties, the Campbells of Greepe, alongside fresh new Scottish-Scandanavian folk music courtesy of Marit Falt and Rona Wilkie. 2 p.m. Ceili and Tea time dance at Pilot’s Row hosted by the Mayor. 3 p.m. Scottish Céilí Workshop at Memorial Hall 5 p.m. Practice some golf at the Fleadh at City of Derry Golf Club, close to the Prehen Fleadh campsite. 6.15 p.m. Slí Cholmcille at the Guildhall. 8 p.m. Derry’s own Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney joins master uilleann piper Liam O’Flynn in an exclusive performance of ‘TPoet and the Piper’ at the Millennium Forum (SOLD OUT) 8 p.m. Club Éigse at St Columb’s Hall. 8 p.m. Dinny McLaughlin launches his CD/DVD ‘Ark of Tides’ at St Columb’s Hall.
