As I am seeing more and more posts about the Iraqi Christians - TopicsExpress

As I am seeing more and more posts about the Iraqi Christians being driven from their homes, kidnapped and murdered...children being beheaded, fathers killed and mothers raped in front of their children...I feel guilty that I have Gods grace. I am free to choose Christianity in this country without persecution (for now, anyway). My struggles and my pains seem miniscule and insignificant compared to these Christians and their plight in Iraq. I sit in my nice, air-conditioned home, with running water and food, while there are parents on a hot, dry mountain side in Iraq who are forced to throw their children to their death to keep them from suffering death by thirst and/or starvation or by the hands of thd EVIL members of ISIS. I cannot imagine the utter pain and strife these people are enduring. They choose to be Christians in Iraq, risking certain death for their choice. They love the Lord, and have their childrens heads severed for this love! Could I do this????? Am I worthy of Gods grace when my hardest choice of the day may be what to wear, what to eat, what entertainment suits me??? We, in America, cannot ignore the persecution and murder of these Christians. If we do, we are doomed to face the same fate on our own soil. God protect those poor souls, and give them any mercy or protection You may have reserved for me.
