Reading the texts between Reeva and Oscar, my heart bleeds because I know so many women who go through emotional abuse like that. They suffer in silence trying hard to please this man hoping he will love her just like she loves him and it never works out at the end, for Reeva the end had to be the grave. I wonder when did Oscar actually get to love Reeva if everything she did annoyed him... from her accent to how she chews gum, what did he actually love about her then? You must know it is emotional abuse when you have to sacrifice your own happiness just for him to be happy. Reeva was forever trying to make this happy, to please him and to make herself desirable so that he can in return love her, that’s sick on its own. I think Reeva should have left the moment she confessed to him that “I’m scared of you sometimes and how u snap at me and of how you will react to me” you should never be scared of your love. Respect yeah, fear something else. I thank God that I know for SURE that I will never be in such a toxic relationship AGAIN, I know I will never be that desperate to keep someone in my life and Yes I am saying love can be a choice. * in my arrogant opinion*
