Michael Thompson 9035 Golden Sunset Lane Springfield, VA 22153 703-455-1539 mikethompson@erols Sunday night Dear Friends: Mark Obenshain is ahead by only 17 votes as of tonight! If you know anyone who voted with a provisional ballot on Election Day -- did not have proper ID, recently moved, asked for an absentee ballot and did not vote it for whatever reason, etc. -- they must go over their County Board of Elections and prove that they are who they are. They have to make sure that their vote for Mark is counted! You have to do that on Monday or Tuesday monring. The window of opportunity ends at noon on Tuesday. This is the closest vote in a statewide election than we have ever had. We must make sure all of our votes are counted. Help us make sure we get everyone who voted a provisional ballot to make sure it is properly counted! Please email your lists and call anyone you might know who voted with one of these provisional ballots. Once we secure this final first count review by noon Tuesday, then there will be a statewide total recount. When Bob McDonnell won his election for this same office, Attorney General, eight years ago by only 360 votes, he picked up about 36 votes in the recount. So being ahead is clearly better than being behind but getting absolutely every vote for Mark counted is key to victory. Thanks. Mike Thompson, Sr.
