WEDNESDAY Ellen Mary Howells - started the day in the countryside beyond Easingwold! She did a very good drive to York where she navigated her way through the busy outskirts to Middlethorpe Grove! There she worked on developing her reversing around a corner technique and made some very good progress on her control! She finished with a drive to the Theory Test centre where she passed!! Izzy Van Pelt - was challenged with some test route material to put her through her paces and to develop her knowledge of how to deal with different road situations! She demonstrated very good driving skills at took us around Osbaldwick, Heworth and Dunnington! In Dunnington she was introduced to the Emergency Stop which after a bit of practice she soon got to grips with! Whilst there she also worked on her hill start and turning in the road techniques! Ben Hartop - worked on his technique for bay parking and parallel parking! He demonstrated some very good control and completed both with ease! Also incorporated into his lesson was work on his Show Me Tell Me which he also demonstrated a very good knowledge of and some work on different junctions and scenarios! Simon McConnell - took and passed his test!! Mark Sutton - finished the day by taking us to the outer ring road and then onto the A64, for the first time in many years! He made some very good development of his skills dealing with overtaking, planning and slip roads and took us on loops between Hopgrove and Tadcaster! A excellent day of driving by everyone!!
