WEDNESDAY IN SOUTH JERSEY: ONE MORE DAY OF HEAT...AND SCATTERED T-STORMS Showers and thunderstorms move offshore in the next hour or so...and well dry out overnight. But well do it again on Wednesday, a renewed chance for scattered thunderstorms. A partly sunny, still hot and humid Wednesday across South Jersey, with likely our third and final 90-degree day on the mainland(which would make a heatwave). Scattered gusty thunderstorms are possible from midday into the afternoon. Highs around 91 west of the Parkway, closer to 84 along the shore with an again brisk south to southwest wind around 10-15mph. Comfier air(lower humidity and less hot temps) slowly filter in Thursday, more noticeable by Friday and Saturday.
