WEDNESDAY JULY 31st - A date for the diary A Super Night of Cabaret A fantastic night of cabaret is on the cards for Wednesday 31st July next at the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells. All proceeds of this night of entertainment will go to the Ciaran Maree Cancer Research and Development Fund. Fergal Flaherty, songwriter, and international singing star will be the head the bill. Visitors to Tenerife will be familiar with Fergal who performs 6 nights a week at the world famous “Hole in The Wall Pub” in Las Americas. Fergal was written many fantastic songs and has performed to packed concert halls and theatres all over Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. Fergal has shared the stage with all the top artists, Daniel O Donnell, Sir cliff Richard, Bob Brolly MBE, Paddy Cole, to name a few. One of Fergal’s great songs, a beautiful Christmas number called, “Remember Me” was recently released by Daniel O Donnell on his album “O Holy Night”. Listeners to L.M.F.M’s Green scene programme will be very familiar with Fergal’s international country and western hit, “I’ll be writing number One’s Up in Heaven”. Fergal has donated all proceeds of that hit song to the Marie Curie Cancer Fund. Fergal grew up in Bettystown and is no stranger to music lovers in the North East. Fergal is a fantastic talent who gives a fantastic show. This visit to Kells is a must for all lovers of a great night’s craic. Our night of cabaret will also feature local stand up comedian F.J. Murray. F.J. has been making the mark in comedy circles all over Dublin and the North East. He gives a fabulous show and always receives top reviews. A treat is in store with comedy from F.J. on his first appearance in Kells There will also some toe tapping and hand clapping good olde Irish Traditional Music just to get everyone in the mood for this Super Night of Cabaret.
