WELCOME HOME! MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad was at the forefront of those who welcomed His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on his return to Bahrain yesterday, following successful medical tests. The King expressed sincere congratulations to the Premier on his safe return, praising his pioneering role and landmark contributions to the kingdoms development and progress at all levels. His Majesty commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the Premier in consolidating milestone achievements witnessed by the kingdom, noting that the sound strategies and development projects of the government, led by the Prime Minister, have covered all fields and contributed to the progress boom witnessed by Bahrain. The King wished the Premier good health, happiness and long life. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, senior Ruling Family members, ministers, Shura Council and parliament chairmen and senior government officials also welcomed the Premier home. The Premier greeted citizens, who rallied to salute him on his safe return. He said their joy and warm welcome reflect the outstanding relations between the leadership and the people of Bahrain. Today, we are resolved, more than ever, to carry on the nation-building march steadily, under the leadership of the King, in order to achieve more progress and development in various fields to meet the aspirations of our dear people, the Prime Minister said. Festivities and joy prevailed as rallies were held across Bahrain to mark the Prime Ministers return.
