WELL ... my only experience with both domesticated canines and felines is together i.e. weve had at least one of both in our home simultaneously, and in my VERY humble opinion, cats - while dramatically more aloof than their canine equals - are not so much mean as they are very frightened but unwilling to let the canine/s know this and AS such, as is their nature, they go on the offensive right from the get go with paws flying and claws slashing and that is nearly-always aimed at the uber-sensitive, offensive (to them, anyway) canine noses ... so yes, I technically DO agree with Mr. Tyrese Gibson ~ HOWEVER, I ALSO believe that if done properly and with the pre-thought that there may very well be several small steps forward AND ALSO a big step or two back MORE than just every once in awhile, EVEN CATS can be coaxed into a semblance of civility with their canine domestic companions ...
