WHAT A DAY! I went to church & couldnt stop crying, God is doing a new thing in me. Being obedient, I finally committed to the church Ive been visiting for years. I go to the mall to buy my moms birthday gift, stop to talk to my cousin Latoya Watson in Lids, & a man my age jumps on his 18 y/o ex in the mall (whom he just got out of jail for prior dv with her). The poor girl was red and fragile, scared to death hanging on for dear life & God bless her friend she was riding for her girl! He tried to kidnap her & her friend went to bat for her. I ran out with police on the line, hand in my purse (yes, Im licensed), and said a quick prayer Lord give him the wisdom to hear my one warning to get up off of her. He saw it in my eyes I was serious. He did. He got up he left, I supported her until police got there. You gotta always be ready for God to use you. My cousin said girl u always at work. Im thankful for her friend. Thank God for your true friends who will ride for you! & we got to protect these babies. Yes she was 18 but she was still a baby yall. Theres no excuse for that! Im praying for the nonsense to cease around us Ive known too man die or suffer from hands of abusers. Enough is enough.
