WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?LOOK AT WHAT SAVAGE BEHAVIOUR HAS DONE TO THIS POOR INDIVIDUAL! We have to change our strategy to counter this barbaric and senseless behaviour. We have to act now to win this war. The rhino horn trade also highlights the dangers of unscientific beliefs about the medical and physiological effects of certain animal and plant products. One option is to flood the market with stored rhino horn and to start keeping breeding herds of rhino. These rhino will not be killed but have there horns removed and sold in a legal controlled manner.Rhinos with horn will continue wonder in our national parks. The above to measures will 1.Bring the price of horn down and therefore decrease the the incentive to take the risk to hunt rhinos . 2.Provide horn without killing and with proper medical methods to prevent pain and complications. 3.The money can be used to further prevent and prosecute the illegal hunting. 4.Money can also be used to educate people about the ineffectiveness of horn as an aphrodisiac, the cruelty poaching. and the danger of extinction. Hopefully the above measures will become unnecessary as humans become more sensible and less cruel. Larry
