WHEN A BELIEVER AND A NON-BELIEVER FALL IN LOVE- Dating Non-Christians: The Forbidden Fruit.(Jesus is Lord,hell, beliefs & scriptures) 10. Falling in love with a non‐believer. The Bible teaches that it is good that we marry someone of the same faith, and therefore, we should not marry a non‐Christian. Even, among Christians, we should marry someone who believes in the same doctrines that we believe in to avoid conflicts and war in the house. If we see the same way (from the same perspective), we will live in peace and harmony and be successful in our marriage. The Bible teaches in the book of Genesis chapter 11 that having the same opinion and perspective on issues enhances unity which in turn brings success. To be of one mind, you need to have the same understanding. Because the people had one mind they were accomplishing their goal of building a tower that will reach the heaven and threatened God’s plan for the earth. So, God had to come down and confuse their language and scatter them all over the earth. 2 Cor 6:14‐16 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Do not marry an unbeliever. Do not marry just any Christian for not every Christian will fit your kind of person. Marry the one that will fit you. Let God help you find that fitting person. Marry the Christian who believes what you believe so you can be united enough to succeed. To be continued!
