After the defeat of his latest gun-control scheme, President Obama declared that this year’s Congressional battles are just “Round One.” For probably the first time in my life, I agree with Obama. This is only the first round of a very long war. Now it’s time to start preparing for Round Two! You see, in between his crackdowns on individual liberties as mayor of New York City, billionaire Michael Bloomberg is preparing to funnel hundreds of millions of dollars into the mid-term elections. And leaders of the Gun Control Lobby are lining up at the Bloomberg ATM to defeat our Second Amendment heroes in Congress. From Sarah Brady to MoveOn.org to the President’s own radical “Organization for Action” activist army, gun grabbers are pledging their allegiance to Bloomberg’s dream of a radical revolution in Washington. That’s why I started the National Association for Gun Rights PAC to not only battle the gun-grabbers in the Capitol, but on the campaign trail as well. But thanks to Obamas IRS and FEC, I’m in a bind. It’s illegal for me to contact you with important information about your gun rights, including which candidates the National Association for Gun Rights PAC supports. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Federal Election Commission (FEC) expressly forbid me from sending information to you about those candidates who are so solid on gun rights that I want you to help us help them. It sounds crazy, I know. But the anti-gun Obamacrats who run the federal government don’t want gun owners and activists like you and me to be organized going into the 2014 election. That’s why the IRS/FEC will only let me tell “a restricted class” of “legal members” of the National Association for Gun Rights who they should -- and shouldn’t -- support in the election. It’s based on ludicrous technicalities, but it effectively stops us from sending you important information, including vital details about the upcoming election. Of course that wont stop Bloomberg and the gun-grabbers from pouring tens of millions into races all across the country in 2014 to DEFEAT Second Amendment heroes and bully the rest of Congress into silence. So if Bloomberg can remove even just a few of the loudest pro-gun voices in Congress, he could pave the way for passage of massive new gun control schemes. That’s why the NAGR PAC is so important. The good news is, I’ve found a loophole around their legal gag, and frankly it’s pretty easy.
