WHEN YOU LIVE FOR CHRIST YOU DIE TO SELF. WHEN YOU DIE TO SELF CHRIST LIVES IN YOU. How do we overcome? We overcome through Christ. We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. But what do we overcome? We overcome evil. We wont overcome the evil that is in others; well overcome the evil that is within ourselves. But will the evils in others prevail against us? Isaiah 54:17 New King James Version 17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. This means that even though it may appear that those who labor against us using evils of all sorts are indeed brandishing the upper hand over us and are succeeding in their endeavors to render us ineffective and void; its only a matter of time before evil runs its course and is found to be the frightened bully whose bluff will get called and is exposed as the coward that it is. This is not to say that evil doesnt sting. Just that its living on borrowed time. And in the end only the righteous will be left standing. Evil and all of its empires, regardless of how great or small, will be utterly destroyed. God’s Everlasting Love Romans 8:31-39 New King James Version 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a] 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Be encouraged, my beloved brothers and sisters of the cross! This world is not our home! We are merely passing through! Christ will come to take us away from all of this Himself! And nothing nor no one can ever stop Him from doing so!
