WHERE IS GUJARAT VIKAS AND VIKAS PURUSH? As per RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan’s report in respect of development of the states, Gujarat is 12th in 28 states of the country based on the survey of various criteria like poverty ratio, GDP etc. (for authenticity this is published recently in the news papers like Times of India, its Marathi edition and Gujarati papers) In categories of developed, less developed and under-developed Gujarat is fifth in less developed states after Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Karnatak and Tripura. Maharashtra is fifth in developed states after Goa, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Punjab(Maharashtra is 2nd in population and third in respect of area) Moreover, Maharashtra has always been No. 1 state in the country on many criteria. It has 26 coporations(Mahanagarpalika) which is maximum in the country. In world’s 249 countries it is on 10th place as independent unit. It has been always stated by learned sociologists, critics that progress in Gujarat has not been comprehensive(extensive) and BJP has always been a party of rich people and businessmen and the stream of happiness and prosperity is always kept flowing in these classes of of people. Remember, progress is not because of one person but because of culture, soil, peoples’ attitude, aptitude to work , administration and implementation irrespective of any political party or person!!!
