WHICH WAY NIGERIA? Where soldiers and AK 47 rifles have failed because of presidential collusion, we poor hunters picked our locally made dane guns and Boko Haramists are fleeing. They could not give us electricity; we became our own Ministers of Power with our I pass my neighbor gen sets. They removed subsidy from fuel, baba God is still keeping us alive despite the increase in price of EVERYTHING as a result. They failed to give us water, we drilled private boreholes. We have crude oil from which kerosene is extracted, yet kerosene is too expensive for the common man, so we use firewood. Education is expensive but God will still help us to get degrees though the certificates are hardly worth it due to falling standards. After 15 years of democracy, the roads are still bad; we manage as best as we can. Youth Empowerment? Forget that one oo! We are still managing as best as we can. We hustle by selling pure water recharge cards, hawking anything hawkable in traffic holdups, etc. Inspite of all the promises, the air is still not FRESH, four years after. We will survive.
