WHO COUNSELS THE COUNSELOR? Written by Pastor Denise Tolbert Where are the Fathers of the Gospel that will mentor, coach and cover the young pastors coming up in this day. People see the Glory, but have no understanding of the sacrifice and all that goes into pastoring. They see Pastors stand up on Sunday Mornings, but have no clue what they went through during the week to keep from falling, or from Quiting and Throwing in the Towel. We have to remind the people that yes we are here to serve you, but Pastors are Human Too. In lieu of the SAD Story of Pastor Teddy Parker commits suicide as congregation waits for him after confessing sometimes he CANT FEEL GOD ... Thats why it is so imperative that we pray for one another. MY STATEMENT: BUT DO WE REALLY PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER FOR REAL ?????? Members want Pastors to hang on with them and for them as they go through their MANY PROCESSES ( We are called to Serve and Carry you through) …….BUT how many will stay and pray and go through with their own Pastor??? Pastors are Human and have their own Personal Matters to contend with as well!!! Pastors take on the Sheep ( Membership)…. Membership (The Sheep) don’t take on their Pastors. Praying for your Leader and showing them LOVE, Uhmmm? They want to FEEL you TOO!! They need LOVE just like the Next one DO. Just Saying-------- Pastor C
