WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR EDUCATION IN SIERRA LEONE. In sierra Leone our government is saying that education is a must(right) not a privilege but have u asked yourself why are we paying for our right. Why do we have only three universities in sierra Leone (USL, NJALA UNIVERSITY & UNIMAK)? In our neighbouring country Guinea, education is a right not a privilege because guineans enjoy free education from primary up to university. The guinean government give allowances to student in the university. Their masters courses is 6 million franc guinee (equivalent to 4 million leones). In sierra Leone we only enjoy free education in primary school and nothing again for secondary school to university. Why students dont receive allowances from the government?
