WINNING WISDOM DEVOTIONAL - TUESDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2013 - THINK IT!TALK IT!TAKE IT! As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7 Exactly as he thinks! No more, no less, just as exactly as he thinks. Mike Murdock in his tape, 20 Master Secrets That Changed My Life, principle number six is, My life will always move in the direction of my current and dominant thoughts. Whatever you are thinking about the most is what you will pursue and you will reach for. It can be love or lust, finances or health, God or sin. But whatever dominates your thoughts will eventually dominate your life. You will always be a servant to your strongest thoughts. Always! Always! Always! Your strongest thoughts will master your energy, determine your schedule, show up in your habits and everything you do. What a revelation! Your thoughts are the raw materials with which God bakes your destiny. Dare to be thoughtless and you have just become lifeless. Little thoughts begets you little life. Big thoughts will give birth to big living. Apostle Paul understood this basic but most important principle. He told the Philippians: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, And if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 What you are thinking is the key to what your future will become. You cant take what youre not talking about and you cant talk about what youre not thinking about. Paul had been praying for the Christians in Philippi to come into a glorious destiny. This is the magnificent destiny that Paul believed God for them but he understood that this glorious destiny would only remain an unfulfilled dream until they think along those lines. Their lives could not be unto the glory and praise of God until their thoughts were unto the glory and praise of God. You cannot play smart with this principle. You cannot think in circles and reap a destiny of triangles. Your thoughts are the daily instalmental payments on your destiny Insurance. So Paul told them discipline your thoughts to only things that are true, things that are honest, things that are pure, things that are pure, things that are lovely, of good report, of praise and virtue. Think only of these things. That is the only way to produce a destiny that is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good, of virtue, and of praise. NB: A.
