VIP possibly refers to very irritating person in todays Bangladesh. Generally they show up late in public events. Neither the organizers nor the guests, however, express their disappointment for such recurring nuisance. Yet, the top public office bearers are unashamed of publicly braking the traffic law. The Daily Star has published few pictures of the VIPs disrespect to the traffic rule on September 2, 2014. It also included the vehicles of a Major General and NCOs. The Army Headquarters has immediately issued a press release. It said, Being a disciplined force, Bangladesh Army is always respectful to the laws of the country. As such, Army Headquarters assures to undertake due measures against such anomalies.” The Prime Ministers Office is now obligated to make it position clear. Otherwise, the perceived supremacy of the military ethics will dwarf the civil establishment. It risks a dire consequence.
