WORD FOR TODAY- FAITHFULNESS IN SMALL THINGS People are always wowed by great things, great successes and achievements. Greatness amplifies a persons good aspects and also weaknesses thus making them very visible. People love being associated with it, hanging around it, people desire to have it to live in it and walk in it. Greatness is mostly prophesied and chanted in religious gatherings and people are willing to do anything including eating grass like i saw on social media or go to church without inner wears just to have it. People dream and desire to be great everyday of their lives i personally do. But one thing that i have finally discovered, greatness is not born out of all the things that people do, i have found the RECIPE for greatness it is simply being faithful with little things. The bible talks about the master that gave his talents to his servants, to one he gave 5, to another he gave 3 and to another he gave 1,All of the talents were not as much but the master expected them to be faithful with the little so that they could be trusted with more. The reason so many people are not becoming great and will never be great its because they are too preoccupied with the day they will be greater than they already are; they forget God expects them to be faithful right where they are. I must say this if when you have 500ksh you cant tithe 50ksh what about when you will have 50million and you will be expected to give 5million, if you cannot be faithful in treating one house girl well how can you manage a company with 500 employees? If you cant love yourself how can you love someone else, a wife and kids? I learnt something from David, Goliath was not introduced to David after he killed the lion and the bear but after he delivered food to his brothers, how many of us can kill a lion and a bear and still be humble enough to deliver food, If God cant trust you to feed your few brothers he cannot trust you to feed an entire nation. David succeeded in this thus God made a confession about him that he is a man after my own heart. You move the heart of God not in the big things you do but when you can be faithful with little things. I remember two years ago, God spoke to me to begin monthly meetings in town dabbed GODS MOMENT, every month i paid for the meeting over 5000, the people that came were between 20 and 50 for a whole year, the offering was between 1500 and 2500 so it could not take care of the bills for the meeting. for more than a year i was there every end month ministering my heart like they were 10,000 people. Later last year is when God spoke to me and said advance and do NIGHT WITH THE KING, The very first meeting there were more than 800 people we moved from 20/40 to over 800, by the time we were doing the third one there were more than 2500 people and we are still growing now God spoke to me about A DAY WITH THE KING which we expect more than 5000 people on the ground this Easter holiday and some few millions of people following us live on TV and others from 4 prisons in this nation. When i thought of it everyone wants to be associated with the great meetings and others think it was an overnight affair, let me tell you its taken years of pure testing on faithfulness with few 20 young people that has birthed all this.Finally i have concluded this SMALL THINGS ARE SMALL THINGS BUT FAITHFULNESS IN SMALL THINGS IS A GREAT THING I DONT KNOW WHO I AM TALKING TO RIGHT NOW, THE BIBLE SAYS DO NOT DESPISE THE DAYS OF HUMBLE BEGINNINGS, YOU COULD BE DOWN RIGHT NOW BUT BE FAITHFUL, THAT IS HOW GREAT MEN AND WOMEN ARE MADE, JESUS WAS BORN IN A SMALL MANGER,DAVID WAS A SMALL SHEPHERD BOY,JOSEPH WAS A SMALL SLAVE IN PORTIPHAS HOUSE,GIDEON WAS A LITTLE COWARD, SAMUEL WAS A SMALL BOY IN THE TEMPLE,PETER WAS A HUMBLE FISHERMAN ETC YOUR QUALIFICATION FOR A MIRACLE TODAY IS NOT A FRACTION OF YOUR SIZE BUT YOUR FAITHFULNESS.
