WORDS ARE NOT CHEAP We must awaken to the fact that words are not cheap. Wars start because of words. Peace starts because of words. Just as Words created the world in Genesis 1:3, so your words create your world. Are you living in a world of joy? Are you living in a world of anger? Are you living in a world of frustration? Your old habits and ways of life can no longer hold with the change of events. Old habits of using insensitive words, not listening, refusing to admit wrong, belittling other’s opinions, being rude, making jokes at other’s expense and criticising instead of praising will wreck relationships and hinder the healing of past hurts. Jesus is calling you to change. Change because you can. Matthew 12:35-36 – “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
