WORDS ON THE MARBLE! Ribadu on my mind!!! Sometimes I wonder what many think words of their mouth mean to them or their followers. To me my words is my bond thats why I dont make frivolous statement or promises but to some other their words are just an expression of feeling as at then hence speaking otherwise or changing it like diapers is not only allow but a life style. This morning after stumble on some words spoken by Nuhu Ribadu the erstwhile Czar of EFCC and former presidential candidate of ACN as then was in 2011 election and his new adventure got me into a deep thought and I conclude that some of you following some unprincipled politicians are doing so at your own risk anyway and God help you if youve created enemies for yourself in the process before you realised that like a reed, they are never stable. Jonathan is one of the corrupt Nigerian i ever investigated while at EFCC & his level of corruption even as deputy governor is just disturbing. PDP is just a disaster & a total failure. Change is the only panacea“ -- Ribadu ‘PDP at war with Nigerians‘ “James Ibori & Depriye Alameseigh are not the most corrupt Nigerians that excels in abuse of trust. Perhaps, they could be less smatter than the most corrupt ones that i still see them walking freely. They deserve not to be associated with politically“ The above and many more are his words in the past before his recent voyage to the same party and to meet the same people and my question while thinking was that has anything change recently about the party or the people,he is now going to associate with? Well I was in this thought when I remember he has a friend of long standing that can help me and hear what he has to say about Nuhu Ribadu. For now he has gone his own way politically by first running for president without carrying us along and then joining the Jonathan administration in a role that may end up having an adverse effect on his public image. On reflection, these decisions are consistent with Nuhus character though, that dinning with the devil if necessary in this way is justifiable to get power no matter the cost, and when one gets power, it could then be used to fix things. Mallam Nasril El- Rufai in his book ;Accidental public servant, page 194. Need I say more? Such is the life of many desperate for recognition and power and disgrace as always being the order of the day. I hope Jimi Agbaje take a cue from here.
