WORSHIP ON PURPOSE WEDNESDAY SCRIPTURE TEACHING LESSON By Servant Leader Angela Law TOPIC: YOUVE BEEN GIVEN THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM SO STOP MOANING, STOP COMPLAINING ITS A TEST OF YOUR FAITHFULNESS TO GOD OPEN UP HEAVEN ON EARTH! SUBTOPIC: I AM OBEDIENT, I AM FAITHFUL; STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD; WALKING IN VICTORY! Exodus 15:25-26 New Living Translation (NLT) 25 So Moses cried out to the Lord for help, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water good to drink. It was there at Marah that the Lord set before them the following decree as a standard to test their faithfulness to him. 26 He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.” Exodus 16:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT) 3 “If only the Lord had killed us back in Egypt,” they moaned. “There we sat around pots filled with meat and ate all the bread we wanted. But now you have brought us into this wilderness to starve us all to death.” 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I’m going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day. I will test them in this to see whether or not they will follow my instructions. Exodus 17:7 New Living Translation (NLT) 7 Moses named the place Massah (which means “test”) and Meribah (which means “arguing”) because the people of Israel argued with Moses and tested the Lord by saying, “Is the Lord here with us or not?” 2 Chronicles 6:14-15 New Living Translation (NLT) 14 He prayed, “O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion. 15 You have kept your promise to your servant David, my father. You made that promise with your own mouth, and with your own hands you have fulfilled it today. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 New Living Translation (NLT) 14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 15 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place. Malachi 3:10 New Living Translation (NLT) 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! GOD SHOWS HIS UNFAILING LOVE TO US & GIVES US HIS PRECIOUS PROMISES! SOME OF US HAVE BEEN MURMURING & COMPLAINING WHILE WERE WAITING ON GOD TO ANSWER OUR PETITIONS, BUT WE MUST FOLLOW GODS INSTRUCTIONS. LET GOD LEAD US IN A PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BUT YOU MUST BE OBEDIENT & WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO GODS INSTRUCTIONS! GOD PUT A STANDARD IN PLACE FOR US TO FOLLOW. WE MUST OBEY HIS COMMANDS & KEEP ALL OF HIS DECREES THEN YOULL HAVE THE PRECIOUS PROMISES THAT HE MADE TO YOU! GOD SPEAKS TO HIS PROPHETS & GIVES THEM INSTRUCTIONS & WE ARE BEING TESTED TO SEE IF WELL FOLLOW GODS INSTRUCTIONS. YOU MUST PRAY & TURN FROM YOUR SINS & THEN YOU WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN & GOD WILL HEAL THE LAND. YOU MUST BE TAUGHT TO FOLLOW THE RIGHT PATH. GOD WILL REMEMBER HIS UNFAILING LOVE THAT HE HAS FOR YOU! GOD WILL PROTECT YOU FROM THE DEVOURER AS YOU PUT YOUR SEEDIN THE GROUND!
