WOW!!! Just awoke in a soaking sweat after only being asleep for 2hrs. It was a dream I know, but still weird. Ive not had a dream about my ex in a long time. Ive had no reason to. Ive accepted my failings in that re..whatever, and Ive accepted her for hers and found if not closure at least an indifference to her and a lack of concern for her future or well being. But tonight I dreamed I was here at home, and I heard her crying. I walk into another room and she is there sitting in a ball with her head on her knees balling her eyes out. I ask WTF do you have to cry about (even here I have to show her contempt for what she did to me). She says she lost 28lbs, in a good relationship and a fun job, and should be the happiest shes ever been, but for some reason cant find her happiness. I place my arm around her, pat her back and tell her things will work out for her if she would just open her heart for once and allow the happiness a place to rest. She looks up and laughs.....in a confused yet angered manner I back away from her then wake up. I cant find a meaning to this, nor do I really want to fixate on it, because it never does me any good to have her in my thoughts. Only sharing in an attempt to leave it here so I can find sleep without revisiting it, or dwelling on it. It is sad though, that no matter the distance or anger, Ill always worry for her. Please send me better dreams. :(
