WOW!!! So I woke up this morning a little scared with reality hitting..OMG, I just designed our very own Sunshine on a Ranney Day chair line where our vendor is believing in us that this would be successful. I was thinking..ok, in my head this is a great thing, but is everyone going to get it? We set a goal to sell 100 chairs in our big launch today. We hit that at 2:30pm way ahead of anything I had thought would happen! Beyond that, I had a meeting with Tiffany Schenck and said, we are going to have over 70,000 followers by the end of tonight...that was a high number, but I said that was what we will do. And 5 minutes ago, we just hit over 70,000 followers! Thank you to Stacy Hughes Halstead, Bill Halstead and all of our past makeover families who jumped on to support. Its amazing what happens with our charity. Stephanie Shoults Self, do you remember when we met you and your family and you mentioned your basement needing to be finished off and would be awesome if you could have a therapy room for Gavin? I remember getting in the car with Pete and saying, we are going to finish off that basement too, and his accountant self looked at me and said, ummm you know that will cost over $30,000 and we have $5,000 in our account? And look what happened. We finished off their basement, both kids room and so much more! When we told Tripp Halstead Updates we would do their entire home, we had between $5,000-$10,000 in the account. Their home makeover exceeded way beyond that! We got everything donated or paid for! Its all about faith, doing good things, and believing in what you are doing. The back of our tee-shirts say Everything will be OK. I have to remind myself that every day as we have so much going on, but the one thing that I can guarantee is that if Pete and I say we are going to do something, we are going to do it! Same for our charity! Thanks everyone for all of the support! We are only going to get bigger and bigger and help so many more kids:)
