WOW....What a great outpouring of congrats and complements! Indulge me a few minutes while I get a little Long Winded... First of all, Thank you all for the nice comments. I really want to dedicate this award to all of nominees.... Wally Lees - Paul McCartney Harry Forster - Bruno Mars Michael Brown - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Drew Gagney - Katy Perry And Andrew Richter - Steve Miller Band It takes a whole team of guys that are a lot smarter than me that I am surrounded by. My old main guy who was with me for 8 plus years was Sam Old Skool Harden....Last year he lost his life to cancer and I think about him every day and ALWAYS sing... “King James and Uncle Shammy” during our song Made in America.... I truly miss him. My main man right now is Cody Stoltz....He has done all of the hard work for me so I can push a few buttons and make it look good. Cody has such a bright future and I know he is going to be one of the great ones in our future. My old crew chief Chuck Hastings.. He was with me for 8 plus years and just this year he joined Garth Brooks. He will be missed but I am very happy for him. Now I have Carter Harris and Andrew Heid...and they are doing a wonderful job. Thanks to Bandit Lites, there whole staff and Mike Golden for all of the support sense our first headlining show in 2000. Seth Jackson has been a huge part of the Toby Keith production and design for over 10 years. He has had been a huge inspiration to me and has taught me so much! Thanks for putting up with my ass for that long lol. Toby Keith...What can I say.... I have been with him for 18 years now. He has been a great boss and great person. A lot of people don’t even hear about all of the good things he does for others. All they hear is controversy... I know for sure he doesn’t go out of his way to get recognition but he deserves it more than anyone! I know. His OK Corral helps out kids that have cancer. He gives millions to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital,..ACM Lifting Lives.....Allys House.....Feeding America.....Make-A-Wish Foundation......Nevada Cancer Institute.......Starlight Childrens Foundation.....The Salvation Army....Toby Keith Foundation and The United Way....Not to mention well over 200 shows for our troops all over the world! Toby’s Tour Manager David Milam... All I can say besides... Congrats on your 3rd Parnelli Award! Thank you for everything you do! Everyone in the Band and Crew! We are a huge family that takes care of each other and has everyones backs. Love you guys! Dave Shadoan the owner of Sound Image! He is on the Parnelli Awards panel and pushed for the category to on the ballot. To my whole family! Thank you for all of your love and support There are many many more but I have been so long winded lol. I have just one more to thank.... My beautiful fiancé Sherri...Thank you for everything! You have been by my side for over two years and went through many many days and nights by yourself while I was out on the road traveling around the world. That is the hardest part of what we do. On December 6th we will are getting married and I can’t wait to be your husband. We are perfect together.... Of course I can be a child at times but you just laugh along with me. I love you so much and can’t wait to grow old....er... with you :-) Sorry for the long winded speech but I really wanted to reply and thank everyone as much as possible.
