WOW! What a time I have had in the presence of the Lord this morning. I have read this passage many times before but never really got it. Matthew 12: 25-29 is the passage we were reading today. What got me was just how powerful the Spirit of God is. Many times we don’t think about it, but he is the only power strong enough to bind Satan and plunder his goods. Vs 29 NLT “For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone EVEN STRONGER – someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.” That just blew me away this morning :) This ties in very well with Isaiah 45:1–3. It is this same Mighty Spirit that goes before us to subdue nations, to UNARM and UNGIRD the loins of demonic kings that he may open doors before us. He ensures that the gates that lead to wealth and prosperity are not shut before us. It is the Holy Spirit who levels the mountains and makes the crooked places straight. He is so mighty and such a man of war that he breaks in pieces the doors of bronze and cuts asunder the bars of iron that would seek to keep you away from the treasure of wealth that God has for his children. The Spirit of God is the one who will hand over to us the treasures of darkness. The plunder and wealth of the Nations that has been stashed away in the kingdom of the enemy. The Holy Spirit will give to us the hidden riches of secret places. The wealth that the enemy does not even want us to know exists. God will do this so that we may know that it is He who calls us by name! Amos 9:13 AMP is our portion in this season! “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt [that is, EVERYTHING HERETOFORE BARREN AND UNFRUITFUL SHALL OVERFLOW WITH SPIRITUAL BLESSING].” Now if that does not give you extra oomph as you go to work, I dont know what will :-D !
