WOW, a stranger sent me this email today. Precious people like this is exactly the encouragement new Moms with challenges ahead of them need. (not that I am a new Mom but keep in mind when you see someone with a special needs child in the grocery store) Dear Sherry, I feel like I have to send you this e-mail to let you know that I am absolutely positive that you do the right thing for you child and dont let all other negative comments from to shade your optimism and hope. You are an inspiration for many moms for your devotion, optimism, openness and fight to bring your child to the highest functioning level. Nothing can stop a mom to try even an experimental experience for her child if that will bring him a minimum of benefit and you are doing this. You have all my admiration! Keep up with the great work with your son and you will be undoubtedly rewarded. P.S. I do like people who criticize while they are coming with a better solution, but since they dont have one, they should better keep their mouth closed.
