WTDR Thunder 92.7FM Ice Bucket Challenge Wednesday, August 27, 2014 Thunder 92.7 FM’s air staff cools off on a hot summer day for a good cause. The team from W-T-D-R took the A-L-S Association Ice Bucket Challenge, today. Owner Jeff Beck has pledged to donate a sizeable contribution to the organization. Thunder 92.7 Morning Co-Host Grady Sapp, says the water bath is worth getting others to donate. Sapp also challenged a few members of the WEAC TV staff. As of today, The A-L-S Association has received $94.3 million in donations compared to $2.7 million during the same time period last year. According to officials, these donations have come from existing donors and 2.1 million new donors.
